Check n’ Play:
Creating Enriching Fun Before Day One
Check n’ Play is a brick and mortar concept focused on child enrichment and caregiver well-being, opening at Brea Mall in summer 2025. As a new company without a physical location, the challenge was to build brand awareness and familiarity within the local community before opening. The goal was to spark curiosity, collect leads, and create a sense of connection so that by opening day, the brand already felt trusted and recognizable.
WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED
To bring the Check n’ Play experience to life before launch, Brandastic used Brea Mall’s high-traffic holiday events as opportunities to introduce the brand. By sponsoring both the Christmas and Easter events, Check n’ Play hosted engaging pop-up activations near the Santa and Easter Bunny sets. These activations allowed families to interact with the brand through creative activities, branded giveaways, and face-to-face engagement.
From booth design to lead collection strategy, Brandastic handled: Themed activities for kids, giveaway promotions to increase foot traffic, branded merchandise and signage, landing pages for lead capture, social media campaigns and ad boosting and email marketing for post-event follow-ups.
HOLIDAY BOOTH IDEATION & ACTIVATION
Brandastic partnered with Check N’ Play to conceptualize and design an engaging holiday booth experience next to Santa at the Brea Mall. The booth invited visitors to enjoy festive arts and crafts activities while learning more about the brand and its offerings. This interactive event successfully created buzz and excitement around Check N’ Play’s upcoming grand opening of its first location within the mall, helping to build early community awareness and anticipation.

EASTER BOOTH IDEATION & ACTIVATION
Brandastic collaborated with Check N’ Play to create a vibrant Easter booth experience next to the Easter Bunny at the Brea Mall. The booth invited families to participate in fun, themed arts and crafts while learning more about Check N’ Play. Visitors also had the chance to enter a giveaway for a special Check N’ Play Easter basket filled with festive treats, a CNP thermos, The Weirdots book, CNP socks, and engaging toys. The event successfully captured the joyful spirit of the season while generating further excitement for their doors to open.
